— Officers responded to the 1200 block of East Pidgeon Road at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a suspicious vehicle. The caller advised that a vehicle drove up behind her car and took several pictures of her car before driving off. Officers advised the caller to call back if she saw the vehicle again.

— Officers responded to the 11 block of Elberon Avenue at 5:29 p.m. Wednesday for a report of an assault between two juveniles. The caller advised her 7-year-old son and his friends were playing in the yard, and a toy car got broken and the owner, an 8-year-old boy, struck her son in the nose. The caller advised that she wanted no further action taken and the juvenile was taken home and his grandmother was advised of the incident.

— An officer on patrol on Georgetown Road near Pershing Street observed a ground hog lying in the roadway injured and unable to walk. Due to the animal suffering the officer euthanized the animal with his duty weapon.

— Officers spoke to a man at the police department at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday. The man advised that an incident occurred in Youngstown involving his 10-year-old son being struck by his mother a week ago. Officers advised him to contact the Youngstown Police Department to file a report with them due to the incident occurring in their jurisdiction.

— Officers responded to Cunningham Road at 1:37 p.m. Tuesday for a wellness check on an elderly man with a young boy walking in the middle of the road. Officers checked the entire length of Cunningham Road but could not locate them.

— Officers responded to the 1300 block of West State Street at 6:42 p.m. Monday for a reported domestic. Officers found Phillip Lewis, 71, and Delshawn Lewis, 19, both of Salem, engaged in a physical altercation, striking each other. Both were arrested for domestic violence and transported to the Columbiana County Jail.
