— Deputies were dispatched at 12:19 a.m. Monday to Mahoning Avenue, Knox Township, for a domestic dispute. Both parties agreed to leave each other for the night and sleep in separate parts of the house. A crisis intervention team referral was completed for both parties to help with their relationship.

— Wilbert Faulk Jr., 38, Salineville, was charged with domestic violence after he allegedly caused physical harm to a family member at 7:09 a.m. Saturday at a Church Street address. He recently appeared in Columbiana County Municipal Court for arraignment.

— A deputy was called at 11:50 p.m. Thursday to Salem Alliance Road, Butler Township, to perform a welfare check on a female experiencing a mental health crisis. She was going through some hardship and the deputy started a crisis intervention team referral to assist her.

— Deputies were called at 11:41 p.m. Thursday to a home in the 100 block of Park Street, Leetonia, after a neighbor witnessed several people with flashlights on the front porch of a vacant home. The people left before deputies arrived and could not be found. While looking around, deputies located an open door and searched the home for anyone inside. No one was found and there were no signs of damage.

— Deputies assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol with a motor vehicle accident on Wayne Bridge Road, Center Township, at 7:15 a.m. Sept. 2 after a male entered a nearby home in hopes of seeking medical treatment for his injuries.

— At 12:30 a.m. Sept. 6, an officer patrolling on Lions Club Road came upon a white Dodge pickup parked in the parking lot, finding a man sleeping in the truck. When the officer woke him up, the man said everything was okay and he pulled over to sleep because he couldn’t stay between the lines anymore. There were no signs of alcohol or narcotics impairment.

— Officers responded to Days Inn, state Route 154, at 9:34 a.m. Sept. 5 to speak with a female. Staff had issues with her the night before and wanted to make sure she was aware of the noon checkout time. Officers advised her and were called back out to the hotel at 12:01 p.m. because she had not checked out. She wanted to go to a hospital, packed her belongings and was transported by EMS to Salem Regional Medical Center.

— A dog was reported running loose on Green Tree Place at 4:55 a.m. Sept. 5. Officers found the dog and returned it to its rightful owner, advising the owner of the ordinance pertaining to dogs running loose and that a citation would be issued if police had to return.

— Officers responded at 3:24 p.m. Sept. 7 to East Pine Street where a woman said the male half won’t let her have her belongings or meds. After officers arrived, he advised she could get her belongings.

— A caller at 3:58 p.m. Sept. 3 reported a person walking in and out of traffic near Smith Oil on Lincoln Way, but no one could be found.

— A resident of Applegrove apartments reported at 4:53 a.m. Sept. 1 that he heard someone next door to him or someone trying to get into the apartment. He said the apartment next door had been empty. Police found the doors and windows locked and the apartment in question empty.

— A caller at 6:59 p.m. Aug. 27 reported a male and female fighting in the front lawn on Chestnut Street with a large group of children watching, but no one was found.

— Police were called at 6:20 a.m. Aug. 21 to Circle K, North Market Street, for a man asleep in his vehicle. He told police he had just worked a 16-hour shift and must have dozed off when he arrived at the store. He denied taking any drugs or drinking alcohol and no signs of impairment were found.
