East Palestine

— A woman called the station at 2:26 p.m. to report that her daughters were being harassed on Aug. 31. An officer attempted to call her back but was able to make contact. The woman called back the following day regarding the same issue.

— A man called to report at 12:22 p.m. on Aug. 31 that his son had spent the night with his mother but failed to go school the next day. The officer was unable to make contact with the mother or son, but the man later reported he had located the juvenile.

— A South Market Street resident called to report she was receiving unwanted text messages at 4:16 p.m. on Aug. 30. Officers attempted contact with the other subject but were unsuccessful.

— Officers arrested Krisen Pallozzi, no age or address given, for OVI at 9:44 p.m. on Aug. 30. An officer reportedly witnessed Pallozzi not stop at a stop sign. While performing an inventory of the vehicle following having it towed, suspected drugs were located and sent to a lab for analysis. Pallozzi was also charged with traffic control devices.

— A report of unwanted text messages was taken at 4:34 p.m. on Aug. 30. Upon investigation, officers discovered the subject had previously warned to cease and desist all communication with the reporting party and Heidi Gorby, no age or address given, was placed under arrest.

— Deputies responded to a report of a disturbance at 3:43 p.m. to Wheathill Mobile Community on Aug. 30. The officers were advised the dispute was over roommates having a falling out. An officer remained on scene, while one roommate moved out some of her belongings.

Salem

— Officers spoke to a woman at the police department at 6:42 p.m. Wednesday for a report of harassment. The caller reported her ex-husband was contacting her continuously and refusing to stop when told to. The caller was able to show officers multiple phone calls and voice mails left by the ex-husband. The caller advised that she did not want to pursue charges but wanted him to stop contacting her. Officers were able to make contact with the ex-husband and advised him to cease all contact with the caller. The man was also advised that if he were to contact the caller again there could be charges filed.

— Officers spoke to a man at the police department at 2:21 p.m. Wednesday who advised he was walking his dog the night prior in the area of Brooklyn Avenue and Cleveland Street, and two people, a man and woman, on white mopeds nearly ran him over as he went to step into the roadway.

— Officers responded to the 900 block of East third Street at 2:02 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a stolen bicycle. The caller advised his black Mongoose bicycle was stolen from his residence. Officers advised they would keep an eye out for the bike and that a report would be on file.

— Officers responded to the 900 block of Fair Avenue at 10:20 a.m. Wednesday for a report of possible accidental damage to the caller’s roof. The caller advised that workers in the roadway struck the electrical power line connected to their residence via a pole on the roof and put strain on the wire. Officers advised them to contact Ohio Edison to check the wire and the pole.

— Officers responded to the 100 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 9:15 a.m. Saturday where a resident reported her boyfriend took her vehicle without permission. She was advised of her options.

— Officers responded to the 400 block of West Wilson Street at 8:36 a.m. Saturday where the complainant reported people trespassing at night and going through the dumpster. Officers advised the complainant of the options for dealing with the issue.

— Jessie M. Endicott, 41, Georgetown Road, Beloit, was charged with receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony; and Andrew S. Brown, 39, Elmwood Drive, Lisbon, was charged with receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony, obstructing official business and drug paraphernalia after officers responded to the 800 block of South Lundy Avenue at 6:25 p.m. Friday where the resident reported a cage trailer had been taken from his property without permission. Endicott and Brown were found in the 300 block of Penn Avenue with the trailer in question.

— Officers responded to the 400 block of East School Street at 11:24 a.m. Friday in reference to a possible dispute. Officers separated the involved people, who said they were arguing about property. Both individuals admitted to pushing the other, but neither wished to pursue charges. They were both advised to stay away from each other.

— An East Tenth Street resident reported at 10:20 a.m. Friday that his neighbor had entered his property without permission at about 5 p.m. Sept. 3. The neighbor was advised to stay off other people’s property.

— An individual reported on station at 6:24 a.m. Friday he had been kicked in the face by a patient while working security at the Salem Regional Medical Center.

— An East Third Street resident reported at 6:02 a.m. Friday that he attempted to pick up his girlfriend from work in the 200 block of South Ellsworth Avenue and a man told him to leave the property, striking his car window. Officers spoke with the man, who admitted to hitting the window but denied causing any damage, and the girlfriend, who said the window had been damaged for over a year.

— Officers responded to the 200 block of East State Street at 4:19 a.m. Friday where a resident reported hearing someone outside her door trying to get in. Officers searched the interior of the entire building but did not find anyone.

— Officers responded to a 500 block South Broadway Avenue business at 2:02 a.m. Friday in reference to someone lying in the parking lot who may have been assaulted. Officers found the person who was transported by ambulance to the hospital.

— Officers responded with medical personnel to a medical call at the Salem police station at 8:12 p.m. Thursday. Officers remained on scene until the patient was transported by ambulance.

— Allen Scott Vancooney, no age listed, Salem, was charged with theft after an officer responded to a 2800 block East State Street business at 3:30 p.m. Thursday where he left without paying for merchandise then fled on foot. He was found in a nearby parking lot and taken into custody.

— An officer at 3:17 p.m. Thursday spoke with a social worker from Akron Children’s Hospital in Boardman regarding a possible child abuse incident that occurred in the city Sept. 6. The matter is under investigation.

— An officer responded to a 2800 block East State Street business at 2:32 p.m. Thursday in reference to two individuals who attempted to leave the store without paying for $579 worth of merchandise. One of the individuals fled when stopped by the loss prevention officer. The other individual, who was not identified in the report, was advised a summons would be issued and she was trespassed from the store.

Goshen

— Richard Kimball, 41, Salem, was cited for speeding was cited for speeding after his eastbound vehicle on West South Range Road was observed traveling in excess of the speed limit at 9:19 p.m. Wednesday.

— Courtney Wolford, 33, Diamond, was cited for speeding after her northwest bound vehicle on Cleveland East Liverpool Road was observed traveling in excess of the speed limit at 8:19 p.m. Tuesday.

— Naython Heck, 20, Columbiana, after his southbound vehicle on Green Beaver Road was observed traveling in excess of the speed limit at 7:53 a.m. Tuesday.

— Christopher Eddinger, 54, Salem, was cited for obeying traffic control devices after his northbound vehicle on South Salem Road failed to stop at a stop sign at 1:24 p.m. Sept. 11.

— Chaz Edmunds, 41, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was cited for driving under suspension after his vehicle on Lisbon Road was observed traveling in excess of the speed limit at 5:05 p.m. Sept. 3.

— George Clapper III, 31, Enola, Pennsylvania, was cited for speeding after his eastbound vehicle on West South Range Road was observed traveling in excess of the speed limit at 10:48 a.m. Sept. 3.

— Anton Miriello, 40, Pittsburgh, was cited for expired registration after his eastbound vehicle on state Route 165 was observed with no visible registration. The vehicle was removed by Sinsley’s towing and the owner was advised how to have it released.
