East Liverpool

— Officers responded on Aug. 3 at 4:12 p.m. to the Haywood Street when the dog warden requested assistance for a combative female when trying to remove multiple dogs from the premise.

— Officers responded on Aug. 4 at 1:19 a.m. to S.R. 39 for a report of Juveniles walking. Officers observed three males running up the road and stopped them. The juveniles said they were on their way home. The officer advised them to go home, and it was past curfew.

— An officer responded on Aug. 4 at 2:29 p.m. to the BP Station on Dresden Avenue for a report of a vehicle striking the fence and driving off. The cashier provided officers with a license plate number. Officers went to the address and spoke with the female driver who said she hit the wrong pedal and shouldn’t be driving due to medical reasons. Officers filed a private property crash report.

— Officers responded to a welfare check on a resident in the 600 block of Minerva Street on Aug. 4 at 6:16 p.m.

— Officer received a call on Aug. 4 at 2:24 p.m. about an older male walking on S.R. 39, going through traffic. Officer located the man trying to get downtown. Officers transported him.

— Officers responded to Riverview Towers in the 600 block of East 4th Street for a juvenile problem. The juvenile, who was not identified, was arrested and then later released to her father.

— Officers responded on Aug. 4 at 4:23 p.m. to a residence in the 500 block of Wilbert Avenue in response to a female who attempted suicide by taking all of her blood pressure medicine after arguing with her boyfriend over the past couple of days. The female reported the boyfriend had gotten physical with her but refused to file a domestic complaint. The boyfriend was trespassed from the property and advised if he was caught on CMHA property he would be arrested.

County Sheriff

— Deputies spoke to a woman at 1:19 p.m. on Spillway Road in Hanover Township who reported her vehicle was taken without permission on Thursday. The woman did not want to press charges or file a report. A refusal to prosecute was obtained.

— Deputies on patrol discovered a gate open at Crestview Elementary School on Middleton Road in Fairfield Township at 3:17 a.m. on Thursday. After a check of the property and building, everything was found secure.

— Deputies assisted the Ohio Highway Patrol with an accident at 5:40 p.m. at state Routes 7 and 558 in Fairfield Township on Thursday.

— Deputies responded to an alarm at the Abundant of Life Church on state Route 46 in New Waterford at 1:47 a.m. on Thursday. A door was found unsecured but the building was cleared and found to be unoccupied. The door was secured prior to deputies leaving.

— A Carrollton woman contacted the department to report she has been unable to make contact with her daughter on Wednesday at 8:04 p.m. Officers spoke to the daughter on Quaker Church Road in West Township who advised she did not wish to speak to her mother.

— A New Waterford woman reported she heard a female screaming in the woods behind her residence at 10:47 p.m. on Wednesday. Deputes searched the woods but found nothing out of the ordinary.

— Deputies responded at 8:44 p.m. on Tuesday to West Lincoln Street Extension in Salineville to a report of a disturbance. On scene, a man reported that the woman who lives at the address took his vehicle and cell phone and left the car at a location in Jefferson County. Deputies provided the man a courtesy ride home.

— Deputies responded at 2:54 a.m. to Dutchtown School Road in Elkrun Township to an alarm on Tuesday. Upon arrival, deputies discovered pry marks on the doors. Deputies cleared the residence and made contact with the homeowner. Photos and video surveillance were gathered for evidence. Themater is under investigation.

— Charlie L. Piper, 43, was arrested on a warrant out of Marshall County, W.Va., at a Washington Street, Salineville, home at 4:20 p.m. Sept. 2.

— A Depot Road, Center Township, resident reported at 12:13 p.m. Sept. 2 her ex-husband had been driving by throwing trash in her driveway.

— A Georgetown Road, Butler Township, resident reported at 11:09 a.m. Sept. 2 several bushes had been cut along the back line of the caller’s property.

— Deputies responded to the area of Tomahawk Drive in Negley at 12:20 a.m. Sept. 2 in reference to people walking near the roadway, Deputies checked near the road equipment and found no apparent damage or anyone in the area.

— A deputy responded to the area of Westville Lake at the dam access for a suspicious vehicle at 11:41 p.m. Sept. 1. The vehicle was found to be reported stolen from Smith Township and was towed, with the owner notified.

— Mitchel D. W. Muntean, 42, was arrested for a protection order violation, a fifth-degree felony, after officers responded to a South Lundy Avenue, Salem, home at 3:11 p.m. Sept. 1.

— Deputies were advised of criminal damaging in the 30000 block of U.S. Route 30 at 9:01 p.m. Aug. 31.

— Deputies responded to the 12000 block of state Route 45 in Madison Township at 1:31 a.m. Aug. 28 in reference to a domestic dispute and found it to be a verbal argument.

Lisbon

— Officers conducted a traffic stop at North Market and Vista streets at 8:23 p.m. Sept. 3 for a factitious plate violation that resulted in a K-9 deployment and the recovery of possible narcotics that were confiscated for destruction.

— Officers responded to the 700 block of East Lincoln Way at 8:23 p.m. Sept. 3 in reference to an ongoing issue with a roommate leaving belongings at the property. The caller was advised it was a civil issue.

— An officer responded to Cross Street at 1:40 p.m. Sept. 3 in reference to a man possibly suffering an overdose. The man said he was just tired from the heat and declined medical assistance.

— An officer responded to Circle K at 8:23 p.m. Sept. 1 where an employee reported several calls from different numbers making inappropriate comments. The employee said the callers were advised to stop and they did not, and wanted to matter documented.

— Officers responded to the 200 block of East High Street at 4:46 p.m. Sept. 1 in reference to damage to a motorcycle. Officers recovered wire strippers beside the motorcycle for evidence.

— An officer responded to the 39000 block of state Route 517 in reference to someone taking property from a home. The caller was advised of the eviction process.

— An officer responded to the 100 block of North Vine Street at 4:15 a.m. Aug. 30 in reference to a domestic incident. Both individuals were advised to stay away from each other for the night.

— Officers responded to a noise complaint on East Lincoln Way at 11:48 a.m. Aug. 28 in reference to loud noises and found a home where loud music was coming from open windows. The resident was advised to turn down the music.

— Officers responded to the 500 block of North Market Street at 8:23 p.m. Aug. 29 in reference to a man urinating on the side of a building. The man was advised to leave the area.

— An officer responded to the area around Willow Grove Park at 2:45 p.m. Aug. 27 in reference to a young juvenile who appeared to be lost, but couldn’t find the juvenile.

— Officers responded to Alice Street at 9:37 p.m. Aug. 23 where a resident reported a flashlight shining from a neighboring window. The occupant of the home from where the flashlight was coming from was advised of the complaint.

— Officers responded to a 400 block West Washington Street home at 8:44 p.m. Aug. 23 in reference to a domestic disturbance and found a verbal dispute between a man and woman who were told to stay away from each other for the night.

— An officer responded to the 100 block of Pendleton Street at 2:19 a.m. Aug. 23 in reference to a patient with dementia who had left a facility. The woman was found on Sherman Street and returned to the facility.

— An officer responded to the 400 block of West Washington Street at 8:44 p.m. Aug. 22 in reference to an argument regarding a small dog nipping at household members. Everyone involved advised everything was fine.

— Officers responded to the Lisbon pool at 8:23 p.m. Aug. 22 in reference to an altercation and spoke with witnesses who said nothing physical had occurred.

— An officer responded to the area of West Chestnut Street and North Green Street at 7:01 p.m. Aug. 22 in reference to juveniles shooting pellet guns. The officer spoke with the juveniles who were found to be using hatchets cutting dead trees for a fort. All juveniles said no pellet gun was involved.

— An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at 5:52 p.m. Aug. 22 for failure to stop at a stop red light. Further investigation led to deployment of a K-9 officer, which revealed suspected narcotics.

— Brad Joseph Guzewicz, 30, North Huntingdon, Pa., was charged with OVI following a traffic stop on the state Route 11 ramp toward West Point at 1:44 a.m. Aug. 20.

Salem

— Officers responded to the 2800 block of East State Street at 1:19 Thursday for a report of a child unattended in a vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and spoke with a woman who advised she helped a woman that was parked next to her and having issues getting into her car. The child was never unattended as she was next to the car.

— Officers responded to the 100 block of West Fifth Street at 12:33 p.m. Thursday for a report of a stolen bicycle. The bicycle was taken from the porch sometime after approximately 7 p.m. the night prior. The bike is a dark blue men’s Kent Flexor Mountain Bike.

— Officers responded to East Third Street at 10:33 a.m. Thursday to assist the street department with traffic control by deterring vehicles from driving around the workers while the street was temporarily blocked for storm debris removal.

— Officers responded to the 400 block of West Wilson Street at 9:53 a.m. Thursday for a report of theft. The caller advised that sometime overnight an unknown person took a metal scrap from the dumpster and on the side of the building on their property and requested an extra watch on their property.

— Officers responded to the 900 block of Franklin Avenue at 9 a.m. Thursday for an open 911 line. Contact was made with the resident, and everything was confirmed to be fine.

— Officers responded to the 400 block of East Fifth Street at 9:03 a.m. Thursday for a reported neighbor dispute. The caller advised that they have had nothing but problems with their neighbor since they moved in a couple of years ago. Officers advised the neighbors to stay away from them and not to speak with them.

— Officers responded to the 400 block of East Fifth Street at 8:53 a.m. Thursday for a reported neighbor dispute. The caller advised their neighbor consistently yells at them for having fires in the backyard and not keeping their yard clean. Officers spoke with the neighbor who advised that the caller always has parties and plays music all night long. Officers advised both parties to stay away from each other.

— Officers responded to the 1200 block of Robin Avenue at 8:38 a.m. Thursday for a burning complaint. The fire department spoke with the man in question, finding he was burning sticks in a fire pit and observed no burning violations.

— Officers responded to the 900 block of East Fifteenth Street at 2:19 a.m. Thursday for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Officers checked the area several times but did not locate the vehicle.

— Officers responded to the 100 block of North Ellsworth Avenue at 1:14 a.m. Thursday for a report of a suspicious persons knocking on windows of businesses. Officers located the person and advised him to move along for the night and cleared.

— Officers responded to the 1900 block of East State Street at 10:17 p.m. Wednesday for a report of an assault. Officers collected information and the caller advised they did not want to pursue charges and just wanted a report on file. A statement was provided for them to fill out and return.

— Officers responded to the 1200 block of Cleveland Street at 9:28 p.m. Wednesday for a report of theft. The caller advised that a man took a package off her front porch step and showed officers footage of the theft from her ring camera. Officers will attempt to identify the individual for potential theft charges.

— Officers spoke to a woman by phone at 3:04 p.m. Wednesday for a report of lost property. The woman advised that while she was getting gas she left her wallet on top of her vehicle, and she believed someone took her wallet off her vehicle. Officers will follow up with the business for security footage.
