East Palestine

— Jeffery Knoblock, no age or address given, was issued a citation for open container and drug paraphernalia after found walking in the middle of East Clark Street at 10:35 p.m. on Sunday.

— Officers responded to East Clark Street at 10:24 p.m. to a party after a report of underage drinking. Officers spoke to all individuals at the party and the gathering was disbanded.

— Officers responded at 10:14 a.m. to the Marathon on North Market Street for a private property crash on Sunday.

— Officers responded at 6:05 p.m. to a report of a male causing issues at an East Main Street residence on Saturday. No problems were reported when officers arrived on scene.

— Officers responded to East Taggart Street to a report of a dog in the creek behind a residence on Saturday.

— Tyler Gottlich, no age or address given, was arrested at 2:16 a.m. on Saturday for OVI and traffic control devices, leaving the scene of an accident and marijuana paraphernalia. Gottlich allegedly ran a stop sign at the intersection of state Routes 558 and 517, causing an East Palestine detective in the area to swerve to miss the vehicle. The officer then went off the roadway into a yard. The suspected vehicle entered East Palestine on Bacon Avenue and was stopped near Carbon Hill for a traffic stop where Gottlich was later arrested.

— Michael Gatt, no age or address given, was arrested for OVI and menacing at 10:50 p.m. on Friday on Malibu Drive. Gatt was reportedly observed by an officer running a stop sign, speeding and going left of center. After an investigation led to Gatt’s arrest for OVI and during the arrest, he allegedly made threats toward the officers. Gatt was also cited for traffic control devices, speed, marked lanes and open container.

— During a traffic stop at 8:28 on West North Avenue Friday, a man reported to an officer that his 9-year-old was missing. The officer followed the man to another location where his grandson was located. However, the officer learned there had allegedly been an altercation between the child and his grandfather. The child spent the night elsewhere and the matter was referred to children services.

— Officers responded at 5:33 p.m. on Friday to the historical society log cabin on Bacon Avenue to a report of suspicious people in the area. The officer made contact and was advised the parties were part of a news crew.

— Officers responded at 7:58 a.m. Friday to the middle school on West Grant Street to reports of a juvenile who refused to exit a car and go to school. The officers were able to convince the juvenile to go to school.

East Liverpool

— Officers took a call from a female on Aug. 4 at 11:50 p.m. who wanted to report her son not returning home from a night swim at Thompson Park. The son returned home while officers were speaking to the mother.
