— An alarm was reported at the Leetonia library on Walnut Street, Leetonia at 3:32 a.m. Friday. The building was found secure.
Lisbon
— An officer at 11:25 a.m. Saturday spoke with an East Chestnut Street resident regarding a retraining order taken out against a neighbor, with the resident reporting a male who does not live there was on the property. No one was found, but then they called later and the officer explained the male could not be there.
— A resident on state Route 154 reported at 3:27 p.m. Friday that his daughter’s dog was barking as a female walked down from the area of the Counseling Center. She walked toward the property and began yelling at the dog. The resident said it happened before and was the same female the last few times and she leaves trash in the yard. An officer responded to Kendall House and spoke to staff, who then pointed out the woman. She said she thought a friend lived there and that she had not been yelling. She was told to stay away from the residence.
— April Columbo, Washington, Pa., was cited for assured clear distance after her westbound vehicle on East Lincoln Way near McKinley Street struck the rear of another westbound vehicle driven by Robert Chapman, Magnolia, at 1:19 p.m. Friday.
Highway Patrol
— James Dearth, 58, Churchill Road, Lisbon, was cited for assured clear distance ahead after his eastbound vehicle on state Route 14 in Unity Township struck the rear of an eastbound vehicle driven by Doriana Kadlecik, 25, Beaver Falls, Pa., at 3:17 p.m. Sunday. No injuries were reported.
— Rochelle Stevenson, 32, Alabama Avenue, Sebring, was cited for failure to control after her northbound vehicle went off of the right side of Homeworth Road in Knox Township at 10:34 p.m. Friday, striking a ditch and culvert.
— Jerry Barber, 55, Bergholz, was cited for improper passing after his southbound Chevy Silverado on state Route 164 attempted to pass a southbound John Deere tractor driven by Nathaniel Pirogowicz, 45, state Route 164, Lisbon, which was turning left into a private drive at 7:44 p.m. Friday in Center Township.
— Joshua Boggs, 41, Lower Elkton Road, Leetonia, was cited for failure to yield after his westbound vehicle on state Route 558 in Fairfield Township failed to yield and struck a southbound vehicle driven on state Route 164 by Emmarae Foy, 18, Canton, at 11:40 a.m. Thursday. The Foy vehicle traveled off of the right side of the road into a ditch. Foy suffered minor injuries.
— Zachary Tomlinson, 25, Butler Grange Road, Salem, was cited for failure to control after his westbound vehicle on U.S. Route 30 in Hanover Township went off of the left side of the road and struck a utility pole at 3 a.m. Thursday.
— Marlin Yoder, 34, Apple Creek, was cited for improper passing after his westbound vehicle began passing another westbound vehicle on a double yellow line on state Route 172 near Teegarden Road in Hanover Township driven by Leo Oshaben, 53, South Park Circle, Calcutta, as the Oshaben vehicle began making a left turn into a private drive, striking the Yoder vehicle. The Yoder vehicle traveled off of the right side of the road and struck a ditch. No injuries were reported.
