— Collan Craig, 23, Salem, was charged with assault after deputies arrived at 1:38 a.m. Sunday to investigate a disturbance in the 27000 block of Georgetown Road. He was taken to the county jail.
— Deputies were called at 12:30 a.m. Saturday to the 41000 block of Osbourne Road, Madison Township for cattle at large. They were located and contact was made with the owner who collected the animals.
— A deputy was dispatched at 12:11 a.m. Saturday to the area of Rollerena Auto Sales, state Route 14, Unity Township for a report of two vehicles leaving the business late at night. The property lot and building were checked and found secure.
— A man on Lynchburg Road, West Township reported at 8:25 p.m. Friday that there was a road rage incident with a semi truck in the 11000 block of Lynchburg Road. He wanted a report on file.
— A man on McCracken Road, Salem Township reported at 7:48 p.m. Friday that a male in a blue Chevy truck cussed at his son while they were sitting at the end of their driveway in their vehicle.
— A man on Trinity Church Road, Hanover Township reported at 6:34 p.m. Friday that his soon-to-be ex-wife and her boyfriend were on the property refusing to leave. Deputies spoke with them and they were leaving. The soon-to-be ex-wife called the sheriff’s office at 6:04 p.m. Friday to reported a custody issue with the man, who is the father of her children. She was told to contact an attorney.
— A deputy at 4:07 p.m. Friday found two people in a vehicle trespassing in the Norfolk Southern rail yard, Bayard Road, West Township. They were from North Canton and told to leave.
— Contact with a person on Bayard Road, West Township was requested by Portage County Sheriff’s Office at 11:50 a.m. Friday. Contact was made.
