— Officers responded to a residence in the 200 block of North Madison Avenue at 5:32 a.m. for a reported domestic dispute. Officers spoke to the residents who said they had been in bed and had not heard or seen anything.

— Officers responded to the 400 block of Reilly Avenue at 12:44 a.m. Thursday for a suspicious vehicle report. The caller advised a vehicle with two flat tires driving on the rims pulled into a parking lot and two men got out and ran into Sebo Stadium. Officers located both men, and the driver Steven Lightner claimed he was walking at the stadium all night, and knew nothing about the vehicle. The other man was a juvenile who admitted to being in the vehicle but stated Lightner was driving. Lightner admitted he was in the vehicle and was arrested for obstruction of official business. Lightner was transported to the Salem Police Department for processing, then taken to Columbiana County Jail. The juvenile male was transported to the police department, and his guardian was contacted. The matter is under further investigation.

— Officers responded to a residence in the 1900 block of Southeast Boulevard at 11:44 p.m. Wednesday for a civil matter. Officers advised all parties of their legal options for the time being.

— While on patrol in the 1000 block of East State Street at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday officers observed a suspicious person behind a dumpster. Officers contacted the man who informed he was waiting for a ride.

— Officers responded to the 2900 block of East State Street at 11:07 p.m. Wednesday for a suspicious vehicle. Officers checked the area but the vehicle had already left.

— Officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of East Fifth Street at 9:45 p.m. Wednesday for a criminal damage report. The caller advised that a woman he knew showed up at the residence to see her child. The caller advised the resident told her to leave and went back inside before hearing the glass shatter on his front screen door. Officers located the woman and advised her of the complaint. The woman advised he kicked her out and slammed the door, causing the glass to break. Due to conflicting stories without witnesses no charges have been filed at this time.

— Officers responded to the area of North Lincoln and East State Street at 7:46 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a reckless driver. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.
