Salem

— Officers responded to the 200 block of East Second Street at 3:26 p.m. Sunday where a woman wanted to speak with officers. The woman spoke about multiple issues, some of which are under investigation.

— Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 700 block of East Third Street at 2:47 p.m. Sunday and found a juvenile passenger. The driver was given a warning for the traffic violation and the passenger was transported to the police station, charged with unruly (curfew) and delinquency violations and turned over to a parent.

— Officers responded to the 400 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 12:15 a.m. Sunday in reference to a physical altercation between a girlfriend and boyfriend. Officers learned that the two individuals were in the physical altercation following a relationship dispute. Both had minor lacerations, but they both declined to pursue the issue.

— Eric A. Greathouse, 29, Salem, was arrested on an active warrant out of Columbiana for failure to appear on a probation violation after patrolling officers observed him in the 300 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 11:40 p.m. Saturday and knew him to have the warrant.

— A Southeast Boulevard resident reported at 8:30 p.m. Saturday his juvenile son is being harassed by other juveniles and wanted the ongoing issue documented.

— Ciara White, 22, Hanoverton, was cited for driving under suspension and white light to the rear following a traffic stop in the 100 block of East State Street at 7:49 p.m. Saturday. Narcotics were also recovered from the vehicle and charges are pending.

— Officers responded to the 1200 block of Cedar Ridge at 7:37 p.m. Saturday in reference to multiple men in a white van attempting to sell narcotics. The van was gone when officers arrived.

— Officers responded to the 700 block of East Third Street at 7:26 p.m. Saturday where a resident reported her adult daughter walked away and she was unable to find her. The daughter was located at a nearby business and the resident responded to pick her up.

— Officers responded to the Salem Community Center at 6:29 p.m. Saturday where an employee reported a private event had just ended and the doors locked when a suspicious man attempted to re-enter to look for a water bottle. The employee said the man was walking around the outside of the building and she was afraid to walk to her vehicle. Officers spoke with the man and he left the property.

— Officers responded to South Union Avenue and Maple Street at 4:23 p.m. Saturday where a vehicle driven by Teresa E. Sevek and bicycle operated by Megan E. Cowdry collided after both failed to stop at the four-way stop signs. Both were cited. Cowdry was transported to the Salem hospital with minor injuries.

— Officers stood by while someone collected personnel belongings from a Ridgewood Drive home at 4:18 p.m. Saturday.

— An officer responded to the 700 block of East Fifth Street at 3:07 p.m. Saturday in reference to a parking complaint and found a vehicle parked in the street that had not been moved for a month. The vehicle was found registered to a Youngstown address with a registration that expired in November 2021. A parking ticket for expired registration was placed on the vehicle and it was tagged for removal within 10 days.

— Officers responded to a 1200 block of Cedar Ridge Drive at 1:37 p.m. Saturday in reference to a 911 hang up call and found the medical situation resolved.

— Officers responded to the 1000 block of Liberty Street at 12:25 p.m. Saturday to assist Perry Township police in reference to a juvenile attempting to leave in a vehicle. Officers made spoke with everyone involved and found the juvenile not in the vehicle. They stood by until Perry Township police could respond to investigate the incident.

— Officers responded to a 500 block South Broadway Avenue business at 12:47 a.m. Saturday in which a patron had an altercation with the bartender was told to leave. The patron was given the wrong credit card and refused to give it back before leaving. Officers were unable to the patron, but were unsuccessful. The victim was told to cancel the card.

— Officers spoke with a woman on station at 11:08 p.m. Friday regarding her juvenile and an incident that occurred in the 500 block of East Pershing Street. Officers took the information.

— Officers responded to Centennial Park at 9:52 p.m. Friday in reference to a man with a knife walking in the park. Officers were unable to find anyone.

— Officers responded to a 500 block East Pershing Street business at 8:42 p.m. Friday in reference to a video of two juveniles moving wet floor signs and breaking a chain blocking the entry way. Officers spoke with the juveniles who said they were just goofing around. The juvenile who broke the chain was told not to return and the juveniles were transported home.

— A South Madison Avenue resident at 8:06 p.m. Friday reported concerns regarding her daughter and some friends. She was given advice on how to proceed.

— An officer spoke with someone at Reilly Elementary at 1 p.m. Friday in reference to a possible sex offense involving a female juvenile. The matter is under investigation.

— Officers spoke with someone at 11:39 a.m. Friday regarding an incident with a juvenile at a day care center on East Pershing Street.

— Leila M. Kirkwood, 78, West Perry Street, Salem, was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device following a two-vehicle crash at 7:47 a.m. Friday in which she was westbound on East Pershing Street and failed to stop at the stop sign at South Union Avenue, striking a northbound vehicle driven by Molly Sue Deland, 50, Merle Road, Salem. No injuries were reported.

— Ryan M. Thompson, 39, state Route 154, Lisbon, was cited for drug paraphernalia and arrested on an active warrant out of Columbiana County after officers spoke with him in the police station lobby at 6:22 a.m. Friday.

Columbiana

— Deborah Dixon, 34, Struthers, was cited for driving under suspension following a traffic stop in the 100 block of state Route 14 at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday.

— Officers responded to the Columbiana Plaza at 4:16 p.m. Wednesday in reference to a disturbance. Officers identified one the people involved and went to her residence for a welfare check. The woman in question was transported to the hospital.

— Michael C. Robb, 41, East Palestine, was arrested on an outstanding warrant following a traffic stop at state Route 14 and Creek Road at 9:47 p.m. Tuesday.

— Shannon Sue Dailey, 47, no address listed, was charged with an unspecified violation after officers responded to a dispute involving a child at the Dutch Haus at 6:26 p.m. Tuesday.

— Police investigated a report of a missing juvenile in the 100 block of Union Street at 5:26 p.m. May 9. The juvenile was found and turned over to his parents.

— A West Salem Street resident reported at 3:13 p.m. May 9 she found a house bought in her name that she did not buy. Following an investigation it was determined no fraudulent activity occurred.

— Officers responded to a report of a female with a knife at Columbiana High School at 7:44 a.m. May 9.
