–A Muskingum County Child Protective Services’ representative reported at 7:25 p.m. Wednesday an incident of child abuse in the 3200 block of St. Clair Avenue involving a named subject, which was forwarded to Columbiana County CPS.
— Police investigated a report of a drug overdose at 3:29 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of Bank Street.
–A welfare check was performed at 3:53 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Sixth and Broadway on a subject. He did not exhibit signs of impairment and denied medical treatment before leaving.
–Officers responded at 6:04 p.m. Tuesday to Lincoln Avenue and Morton Street for a verbal argument in the street.
–A neighborhood dispute was reported at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.
–Police were dispatched at 8:59 p.m. Tuesday to the 1900 block of Michigan Street to speak to the home owner about trash disposed of on the sidewalk and street.
–A welfare check was performed at 10 p.m. Tuesday on a male subject who was reported to be homeless. Upon contact, police learned that he lives with his brother in Midland and just enjoys the Broadway Wharf.
–Christian Cameron, no address listed, was served at 9:03 p.m. Monday with a warrant, after a routine traffic stop in the 300 block of West Ninth Street.
–Police responded at 7:34 p.m. Monday for a possible drug overdose at an Almont Street residence. The subject was unconscious until administered Narcan and transported to East Liverpool City Hospital for further treatment.
–A female subject wanted a male removed at 7:20 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of College Street. She was advised of the eviction process.
–Officers responded at 7:07 p.m. Monday to the area of Ray Street and Lincoln Avenue for a four-wheeler complaint. The juvenile rider was advised to stay off the road.
–A welfare check was performed at 6:33 p.m. Monday in the first block of Pennsylvania Avenue after a third-party call. The woman was fine.
–A Fawcett Apartments’ resident alleged at 5:38 p.m. Monday that he had been the victim of an assault but couldn’t identify the subject. He exhibited a heavy odor of alcoholic beverage coming from his person and cans of beer along with a pool of blood were found by the door to enter his apartment. The investigation continues.
–Police were called the ICU of Salem Regional Medical Center at 2:46 p.m. Friday for a combative patient.
–Officers responded at 4:10 p.m. Friday to the 300 block of West State Street for a complaint about a man on a bicycle throwing objects at vehicles. Contact could not be made.
–Goshen police asked for assistance serving an arrest warrant at 2:42 p.m. Friday in the 1200 block of Southeast Boulevard. Negative contact was made with the subject.
–A counterfeit $100 bill was passed at 1:14 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of West State Street at a pizza establishment.
–An angry emergency room patient allegedly assaulted a nurse tending to his medical needs sometime before 12:33 p.m. Friday at Salem Regional Medical Center with a clipboard. The incident will be sent to the prosecutor’s office for review.
–Police investigated complaints at early Saturday morning at the same residence in the 900 block of Prospect Street. After initially reporting someone made threats to vandalize her vehicle, the subject continued to drive past her residence for several hours. The alleged victim was advised that the subject is permitted to be on the road since it is public property. However, if he yells or acts aggressively in anyway, he could be charged.
–A parked and unoccupied vehicle had been struck sometime before 11:40 a.m. Saturday in the 2900 block of East State Street.
–A complainant wanted documentation of a civil matter that had occurred sometime before 4:21 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of East Pershing Street, involving an employer refusing to pay a former employee.
–A suspicious person was reported at 1:18 p.m. Friday in the 1000 block of East State Street. He allegedly attempted to steal a ratchet strap off a telephone pole that Ohio Edison placed there.
–Officers were dispatched at 11:55 p.m. Friday to the 400 block of South Lundy Avenue. A juvenile was physically threatened by a subject located in the 600 block of Franklin Avenue. The incident is under investigation with possible charges.
–A subject was administered Narcan and transported to SRMC at 12:50 p.m. Friday after a possible overdose in the 300 block of East Fourth Street.
–A complainant reported at 12:06 p.m. Friday in the 600 block of East Fifth Street that someone stole her gray bike shortly after midnight.
–An assault was reported at 6:26 p.m. Friday in Centennial Park.
–Officers were dispatched at 1:01 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of Rose Avenue for a suspicious person, who was carrying a sleeping bag, and made entry into a vacant residence. The subject claimed that he was cleaning up the property, after witnesses heard glass breaking after he had stopped at this residence. He was asked to leave and not return.
