County Sheriff

— A suicidal person reportedly walked away from a McKinley Road, Unity Township, home at 3:04 p.m. Sunday. She was located and transported by Columbiana EMS to be evaluated.

— A woman in the 24000 block of West School Street, East Rochester, reported at 7:54 p.m. Sunday she was having ongoing problems with a child. Deputies gave her advice on how to handle the situation.

Liverpool Township

— An accident without injury was reported at 1:32 p.m. Saturday in the first block of Dewey Avenue. A truck had kicked up gravel, damaging her vehicle’s windshield.

— A Park Place Avenue caller reported at 5:59 p.m. Tuesday that someone had stolen a 60′ television from his residence and named a possible suspect.

— A dog bite of an East Liverpool water meter reader was reported at 4:36 p.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of Fisher Avenue.


— No citations were noted at 7:40 p.m. June 10, when Rammel Tisdale allegedly struck Charles Fisher’s vehicle in the Save-a-Lot parking lot.

— A Wellsville woman reported at 2:31 p.m. June 10 that sometime overnight someone cut the catalytic converter off an Uhaul she was renting.

— Police responded at 5:57 p.m. June 9 to Independence Square for a 4-month-old baby sitting outside alone.

— Josh Keener was arrested at 6:05 p.m. June 9 in Independence Square on charge of aggravated burglary and criminal damaging, after damaging a cabinet door in one of the apartments.


— Vandalism was reported at the new restrooms located in the Corner Pocket Courtyard Monday.

— Anthony Kelly, 32, of Columbiana was arrested for aggravated menacing and assault following an incident with Columbia Gas workers Monday.

— Police took a report Monday for an accident involving a vehicle hitting a deer on State Route 14 near Dollar General.

— A woman came on station Monday to report she responded to a fraudulent email.

— Monday police took a private property report at Huntington Bank.

— A woman called about someone entering her garage and opening water valves Monday.


— Delbert McCallister, 55, of Salem, was taken by KLG ambulance to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown after an accident at 11:41 a.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Benton Road. McCallister was driving eastbound when he suffered an unknown medical problem, causing the vehicle to cross the center lane, going off the north side of the road, shearing off a utility pole, continuing on and striking an unoccupied parked vehicle at Quality Cars, owned by the business.

— A dispute was reported at 10:26 a.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of Continental Drive where a person reported her daughter wasn’t taking her medication. The daughter told police she didn’t want to take the medication and was fine. The parents said they would leave so the daughter would calm down.

— A caller at 9:06 a.m. Tuesday reported balloons placed in front of a facility on West Perry Street were stolen during the night.

— Police stood by with Perry Township officers in the 300 block of West Pine Lake Road at 5:07 a.m. Tuesday while they took a male into custody for aggravated menacing.

— A suspicious vehicle was reported at 1:49 a.m. Tuesday in a parking lot on Prospect where police found a man using the WiFi from the building.

— Police were called at 10:03 p.m. Monday for a possible kidnapping, but after a brief investigation, officers were able to locate the child with a neighbor who said the parents knew the child was with him. The child was returned to his parents.

— A traffic light malfunction was reported at 8:25 p.m. Monday at West State and Benton, but police saw the light cycle through perfectly twice with no problem.

— A drug overdose was reported at 7:54 p.m. Monday in the 900 block of East Fifth Street where police responded with fire department medics and EMT ambulance for a medical emergency. The fire department administered naloxone on the person inside the home, who was then taken to Salem Regional Medical Center.

— A stop sign was reported vandalized at 7:16 p.m. Monday at Aetna and Homewood. A note was left for the street department.

— A Goshen Road woman reported criminal damage to her vehicle at 6:53 p.m. Monday in the 2500 block of East State Street and also said she was being stalked, but she wasn’t sure by who. She said she went inside a store and when she came out, saw stains on her seats.

— Police were called at 5:59 p.m. Monday to Speedway gas station on West State Street to remove a person asking customers for money. The person left and couldn’t be found. The store wants him trespassed from the premises if found.

— A caller with a noise complaint at 5:51 p.m. Monday reported a group of males working on vehicles in the 500 block of Cedar Street. Police told them about the complaint.

— A domestic was reported at 4:53 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of East Euclid Street where officers found two people in a dispute over money. The property was returned to the proper owner and both were told to keep their distance from each other.

— A theft was reported at 4:07 p.m. Monday in the 300 block of East Second Street where a man left his cell phone on a counter and left, then another man grabbed the phone and walked out with it. The first man came back in looking for the phone and did not know the second man. An investigation is pending.

— Police responded at 3:49 p.m. Monday to the 600 block of East 12th Street for a possible overdose that was more of a medical situation, standing by until fire department medics and an ambulance left.

— A caller at 1:31 p.m Monday reported a male in a black car possibly drinking alcohol in the 800 block of West State Street. The person had already left when police arrived.

— Madison Woody, 21, of Canfield, was cited for improper backing after backing the vehicle she was driving out of a private drive onto Ridgewood and being struck by a westbound vehicle driven by Earl Schory, 70, of Southeast Boulevard at 1:19 p.m. Monday. Woody and her passenger, 20-year-old Sarah Ewing, were both taken by ambulance to the hospital for injuries.

— A reckless vehicle reported in the 1400 block of Franklin at 12:20 p.m. Monday was not found.

— A well-being check was requested in the 400 block of East Second Street at 11:41 a.m. Monday. Police located a person sleeping who said he was just resting, but would move along.

— An officer at 11:34 a.m. Monday spoke with a parent and her juvenile daughter about an incident that occurred on May 27. The case will be forwarded to the juvenile officer.

— A reckless vehicle reported at 11:02 a.m. Monday on West State Street was not found.
