— Officers were called to the scene for medical emergencies at 12:10 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Continental Drive; at 12:59 p.m. Friday in the 2300 block of East State Street; at 1:56 p.m. Friday in the 700 block of North Lincoln Avenue; and at 5:05 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of East Twelfth Street.

— Charges are pending regarding an alleged assault shortly after midnight Saturday in the 500 block of South Broadway Avenue.

— A domestic dispute was reported shortly after midnight Saturday in the 300 block of West Tenth Street.

— Police responded to reported verbal domestic disturbances at 1:18 p.m. Friday in the 700 block of East Fifth Street and at 8;27 p.m. Saturday in the 700 block of West State Street.

— Civil matters were reported at 12:38 p.m. Friday in the 1200 block of East State Street, at 12:27 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of South Broadway Avenue, at 6:40 p.m. Friday in the 700 block of Prospect Street.

— A welfare check was performed at 10:54 a.m. Friday in the area of Lincoln Avenue and Aetna Street.

— A member of the Salem Beautification group reported at 10:34 a.m. Friday in the 200 block of South Broadway Avenue that a smoke box was stolen sometime between May 16 and 20.

— Private property crashes were reported at 7:49 p.m. Friday in the 1800 block of East State Street between Eric Demuth, of Beloit, and Mark A. Rigby, of Newgarden Avenue; and at 1:29 p.m. Saturday in the 2800 block of East State Street involving Michael Kidd, of East Seventh Street, and Jason Beeson, of Panola, Texas.

— An open burning complaint was received at 9:35 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of West Wilson Street.

— Officers were dispatched at 5:42 p.m. Saturday to the 800 block of Jennings Avenue for the report of an at-large dog attacking another dog. Both dogs are up to date on shots.

— The unnamed dog at large was given a warning after 4:52 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Ohio Avenue.

— A rock from a lawn mower struck the driver side window of a passing vehicle shattering it at 2:21 p.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of North Ellsworth Avenue.

— A deceased individual was reported at 11:17 a.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of Cleveland Street. After the coroner responded and an investigation found no foul play, the victim was transported to an area funeral home.

— An illegal dumping report was received at 9:48 a.m. Saturday in the 2600 block of East State Street.

— A lost load was reported at 9:02 a.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of East State Street.

— Officers responded at 10:23 p.m. Friday in the 2800 block of East State Street to the report of a man walking around the parking lot with a knife. The subject could not be located.

— Christopher M. Fadden, of Katy, Texas, was arrested at 1:08 a.m. Sunday in the 1800 block of East State Street on a charge of disorderly conduct while intoxicated.

— A suspicious vehicle was reported at 10:05 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of East Sixth Street.

— A complaint was received at 9:58 pm. Saturday in the 400 block of South Broadway Avenue regarding fireworks.
