— Police responded at 12:35 a.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of Huston Street to investigate a possible breaking and entering.

— A report of vandalism was filed at 8:11 a.m. Thursday to his parked GMC.

— A subject was transported to East Liverpool City Hospital at 11:18 p.m. Thursday, after being discovered lying down in the 500 block of Maple Street.

— Children’s Protective Services asked police to do a welfare check at 2:15 a.m. Thursday in the 300 block of Ogden Street.

–An unattended, crying child left in a vehicle was reported at 8:55 p.m. Friday in the 600 block of Walnut Street. The vehicle left before contact was made.

–An employee at East Liverpool Dairy Queen reported at 8:17 p.m. Friday reported that a customer threw a banana split on them, and management wants to them to report these incidents.

–A suspicious person complaint was reported at 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

–Police were dispatched at 2:38 p.m. Saturday to the Blossom Hill Apartments complex for a custody dispute.

–A welfare check was performed at 1:34 p.m. Saturday in the 2700 block of St. Clair Avenue on behalf of a 37-year-old man’s employer, who has been unable to make contact with him since Monday. An officer was unable to make contact with the subject, although there was a pickup truck in the driveway.

–A disturbance was reported at 1:18 a.m. Saturday near the dialysis clinic.

–Police documented a neighborhood dispute over parking at 7:26 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of East Fifth Street.


–Found property placed in the police department’s custody includes a set of keys at 9:52 a.m. Friday from a gas station in the 2800 block of East State Street and a wallet at 5:15 p.m. Friday from the 500 block of Walnut Street,

–A female subject alleged possible harassment at 9:55 p.m. Friday in the 100 block of Elm Street, saying that a male subject was following her. She has a protection order against him.

–Officers responded at 4:22 p.m. Saturday to the 2200 block of East State Street, after someone allegedly tried to pass counterfeit money.

–Brittany J. Mitchell, of Cherry Street, was served with a warrant at 6:49 p.m Saturday in the 200 block of North Ellsworth Avenue for probation violation.

–A female caller reported at 9:02 p.m. Friday that she heard a noise in the basement of her Vine Avenue home and she wanted it checked out.

–An investigation is pending regarding concerns expressed by Akron Children’s Hospital regarding to a 10-year-old city female.

–Welfare checks were performed Friday at 8:32 a.m. in the 2700 block of East State Street, at 4:07 p.m. in the 200 block of Jennings Avenue, at 6:11 p.m. in the 200 block of East Fourth Street, twice in the 200 block of Vine Street and at 3:02 p.m. Saturday to the 500 block of Hawley Avenue.

–Police responded at 5:45 p.m. Saturday to a neighbor dispute about a tree.

–An ambulance was dispatched at 9:25 p.m. Friday to the 900 block of South Lundy Street, where police stood by for a subject having seizures.

–A civil dispute over a vehicle purchase was reported at 3:24 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of West State Street.

–Joshua Mellinger, of East Fourth Stret, was cited at 8:34 a.m. Saturday in the 900 block of South Lincoln Avenue for failure to maintain an assured clear distance, after striking another vehicle in the rear.

–A female victim reported at 3:01 a.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of Southeast Boulevard reported her ex-boyfriend broke into her residence to retrieve his belongings and wanted it on file.

–A fight in progress was reported at 1:36 a.m. Saturday in the 500 block of South Broadway Avenue.

–Road rage was reported at 3:36 p.m. Friday in the area of State and Lincoln, were a female alleges that a passenger in a car next to her and threw an unknown subject on her and her car, after yelling at her.
