— A woman reported she moved from a Georgetown Road, Know Township, address about two years ago and now she has found she is missing glassware, silverware, kitchenware, money, jewelry and other items.
— Kordelle D. Phillips, 24, of Alliance, was cited for failure to control when he drove off the side of state Route 11 in Elkrun Township at 10:22 p.m. Monday. Phillips said he swerved to miss an animal and went off the side of the road, striking a guardrail.
— Edwin R. Hibbs, 66, of East Liverpool, was cited for a right of way violation when he failed to yield from a stop sign at the intersection of Yeager Drive and Y and O Road in Madison Township and collided with Ainsley F. Talbot, 22, of Wellsville, at 5:55 p.m. Monday. After the initial collision, Hibbs’ vehicle spun around and struck Chandon K. Kamada, 39, of East Liverpool.
— Cody Campbell, 26, of Lisbon, was cited for traveling in marked lanes and distracted driving when he drove off the side of Salem Grange Road in Salem Township and struck a ditch at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday. Campbell said he looked down at his phone to see if he got a message.
— Officers were flagged down in the 600 block of East Pershing Street at 7:54 a.m. Tuesday by someone who claimed another person had made threats toward him. The officers spoke with the other person who denied making any threats and said the complainant believes he is stilling his WiFi. Both individuals were told to stay way from each other.
— Officers responded to the 500 block of East State Street at 9:22 a.m. Tuesday in reference to a suspicious person and found that the person was in the area looking for someone who was supposed to give him a ride. The person was unable to find the other person and left the area.
— An officer responded with the fire department to investigate a smoke report in the 1400 block of Franklin Avenue at 12:13 p.m. Tuesday and found a smoldering pole. The officer stood by until firefighters determined there was no fire.
— Officers at 12:25 p.m. Tuesday took a report of a bicycle stolen from the 200 block of North Madison Avenue overnight.
— A patrolling officer at 3:43 p.m. Tuesday investigated a disturbance at Waterworth Memorial Park off Sunset Drive and found no criminal activity. The officer advised two juveniles to stop creating a disturbance.
— An East Third Street resident reported on station at 5:17 p.m. Tuesday his child lives with the mother in the 1200 block of Cedar Ridge Drive and the mother is not making the child abide by his court ordered visitation.
— Robert L. Walters, 48, McCracken Road, Salem, was charged with disorderly conduct by public intoxication after officers responded to the 1000 block of North Lincoln Avenue and found him walking in and out of the roadway while yelling. The residents said they did not want him there and he was given several opportunities to call for a ride but could not get one.
— Kimberly I. Edie, 29, Benton Road, Salem, was arrested on a warrant out of the sheriff’s office for possession of drug abuse instruments and cited for possession of drug abuse instruments after an officer observed her in the 800 block of East State Street and knew her to have the warrant. A search of her belongings during the arrest revealed several drug paraphernalia items in her backpack.
— Officers responded to a 1200 block East Fourth Street home at 9:29 p.m. Tuesday where the resident reported a male individual had been looking in her windows. The officers were unable to find anyone in the area.
— Officers responded to the 1200 block of East 11th Street at 10:05 p.m. Tuesday in reference to an assault in progress and found a large group of people outside a home. The complainant said there had been a funeral that day and the suspect was not welcome at the home. She said the suspect grabbed her by the arm and struck her in the face when she told her to leave. Officers spoke with the suspect who said several people had approached her vehicle and were striking her. Officers documented minor injuries and forwarded the matter to the prosecutor’s office. The suspect was told not to return to the home.
— Michael S. Moore, 21, North Canton, was cited for rapid acceleration and open container following a traffic stop on Superior Avenue at East Eighth Street at 11:05 p.m. Tuesday in which a patrolling officer observed him parked at the dead end of Superior, then leave at a high rate of speed when the officer approached. The officer observed an empty beer can in the passenger door during the traffic stop.
— Officers responded to the area of Rose Avenue and East Fifth Street at 11:59 p.m. Tuesday to search for a juvenile reportedly kidnapped or abducted but were unable to find anyone matching the description provided by the complainant. Officers later checked the victim’s house and found the female juvenile.
— Officers responded to the 1100 block of Newgarden Avenue at 12:46 a.m. Wednesday in reference to a prowler but were unable to find anyone. They were also advised of a neighbor’s garage door being open. They found no one inside and closed the door.
— An officer responded to the Salem Regional Medical Center at 12:53 a.m. Wednesday where a male had been brought into the emergency department and had a large amount of marijuana with him. The officer confiscated the marijuana.
— Officers responded to the area of East State Street and North Lincoln Avenue at 2:02 a.m. Wednesday in reference to an intoxicated man in the middle of the street. The man did not speak English so an interpreter responded to translate. Officers eventually gave the man a ride home and warned him for public intoxication.
