County Sheriff

— Deputies were sent at 1 a.m. Sunday to the area near Forever Safe Farms, McCracken Road, Salem Township, for a report of horses being loose. They did not find them.

— A woman on Middle Street in Knox Township reported at about 7 p.m. Sunday she and her boyfriend argued and he pushed her and carried her outside. She was not hurt and declined to press charges.

— A deputy responded to what turned out to be a false alarm at Hilltop Lawn and Garden on state Route 14 east of Washingtonville at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

— A deputy responded at 9:50 a.m. Sunday for an alarm going off at a Georgetown Road home. All was well.

— Deputies spoke Sunday with a Depot Road, Center Township, woman regarding custody issues. She was told to contact an attorney.

— A Campbell Road, Hanoverton, man reported at 12:30 p.m. Sunday his daughter had friends over and he wanted them gone. The man was told his daughter was entitled to have company since she also lives there. The person the man wanted gone had already left.

— Deputies were sent to the area of the Hanover Township garage at 5:30 p.m. Sunday in reference to loud explosions. They heard nothing.

— Deputies at 10:30 p.m. Saturday handled a call about unauthorized use of a vehicle from a Valley Road, Butler Township, woman. She later called back and said she got her back.

— Deputies were set to a Grant Street, Center Township, home at 9:30 p.m. Saturday for possible domestic. They could not make contact with anyone inside. A neighbor told them the resident was intoxicated and yelling at herself. The neighbor also said she told the woman to go to sleep, which she did.

— A Rochester Road, West Township, man reported Sunday a neighbor was posting Facebook Live videos slandering him. He said the videos were not threatening but could hurt his business financially. He was told it was a civil matter.

— A Nassau Road, Kensington, man reported Sunday a person was making false statements about him on Facebook Live. He said the statements were not threatening but could hurt his reputation. He was told it was a civil matter.

— A Cunningham Road woman reported at 5:45 p.m. Sunday she wanted a man removed from her daughter’s residence. She was told that even though she owns the home, she rents it to her daughter who can have anyone at the house that she wants.

— A Main Street, Knox Township, woman reported at 4:45 p.m. Sunday her grandson’s bicycle had been stolen. She called back later to say it had been returned. She did not want to pursue charges against the kid but wanted a report on file.

— A state Route 518, Madison Township, resident called at 5:30 a.m. Monday wanting a man removed from the home. The man had left prior to deputies’ arrival.

Salem

— Officers responded to a 2300 block East State Street business at 11:04 a.m. Sunday in reference to shoplifters still in the store. The business did not want to press charges, just for the suspects to return the items and not return.

— An 800 block East Sixth Street resident reported at 11:54 a.m. Sunday suspicious activity caught on camera at their home. An officer reviewed the footage but could not see any criminal activity or positively identify the person shown. The officer said there would be extra patrol at night.

— Someone reported at 3:42 p.m. Sunday seeing a male individual attempting to use several cards at an ATM machine at a bank in the 100 block of South Lincoln Avenue, then leaving the final card he tried to use. An officer retrieved the card and contacted the bank about the incident.

— Michael Gbur, 55, Hollyhock Way, Salem, was cited for failure to control following a one-vehicle crash in the 500 block of South Union Avenue at 3:46 p.m. Sunday in which he was northbound and said he dropped his phone, traveling off the roadway and striking a tree in the curb lawn when he attempted to pick it up. No injuries were reported.

— Officers responded with medical personnel to a 500 block West Sixth Street home at 3:53 p.m. Sunday in reference to a medical emergency. Officers stood by until the victim was transported by ambulance to the emergency room.

— Officers responded to a 600 block North Lincoln home at 9:10 p.m. Sunday where a male individual reported he had unknowingly smoked THC from a vape cartridge owned by his friend and he wanted to be transported to the hospital. Several vape cartridges were gathered from the victim and charges are pending lab results.

— Officers responded to a 900 block East Third Street home at 10 p.m. Sunday in reference to loud people. The officer heard yelling from inside the home and found a verbal dispute between and mother and her teenage daughter. They were advised to keep their voices down.

— Officers responded to the Salem Regional Medical Center at 11:48 p.m. Sunday in reference to a male individual loitering on the property. The officer located the man who said he was suffering from post traumatic stress syndrome and was having suicidal thoughts. He was transported from one end of the facility to the emergency and admitted for evaluation.

— A patrolling officer at 1:26 a.m. Monday observed several juveniles riding their bikes in the 100 block of South Ellsworth Avenue. Their guardian was contacted and they were warned for a curfew violation.

— Officers responded with medical personnel to a 600 block Olive Street home at 4:24 a.m. Monday in reference to an unresponsive male. The victim was transported to the Salem hospital.

New Waterford

— Officers responded to the 46000 block of Crestview Road at 11:17 p.m. May 21 in reference to loud music. Officers spoke with the people playing the loud music and they agreed to turn it down.

— Officers responded to the 46000 block of Hatcher Road at 1:05 a.m. Saturday in reference to a female individual making suicidal threats. Officers spoke with the woman and she agreed to be transported to the hospital for evaluation.

— Officers responded to the area of Allendale Avenue at 6:49 p.m. Saturday in reference to people riding a mini-bike in the roadway. Officers spoke with the people and told them to keep the vehicle off the roadway.

— Officers responded to the 3200 block of Creek Road at 11:16 p.m. Sunday in reference to a loud music complaint. Officers spoke with the person playing the loud music and he agreed to turn it down.
