— Zachary D. Birkhimer, 30, Zeigler Road, Hanoverton, was northbound on state Route 9 in Hanoverton driving a pickup, but hauling a combine at 7:22 p.m. Thursday. Birkhimer made a left turn onto Zeigler Road when the combine struck overhead cable wires.
— A Haiti Road, Washington Township, woman reported at 11:23 p.m. Thursday her neighbor was playing loud music. Deputies did not find any loud music playing when they arrived.
— Everything was found secure at an Esterly Drive, Fairfield Township, business at 12:42 a.m. Friday when an alarm sounded.
— An East Fifth Street woman reported at 5:34 p.m. Friday her 15-year-old daughter stole her husband’s debit card, went to the ATM and took money out. The girl was already on probation and had an active warrant. She was taken to the Tobin Center and additional charges are pending.
— A large brush fire was found behind a North Ellsworth Avenue home at 8:15 p.m. Friday. A man was adding brush to the fire using a forklift. Police and firefighters talked to the man about the city burning ordinance, then extinguished the fire and warned him.
— Someone reported smoke in the area of South Lundy Avenue at 8:33 p.m. Friday. Police found the source to be a small fire in a backyard where the homeowner was cooking hot dogs. No violations were seen.
— A Monroe Street man reported at 10:02 p.m. Friday he and his girlfriend were being harassed by phone by someone threatening to physically harm the girlfriend. Police spoke to the person in the 800 block of West Pershing Street, who said the girlfriend had also threatened her and other family members. Police warned the woman to have no further contact with the couple or charges would be filed.
— Suspicious activity was reported at 11:41 p.m. Friday on South Lincoln Avenue, two people who had reportedly attempted to break into a business 48 hours ago. Police found the two people walking in the area and they claimed they were just attempting to see if the business was open when they were there the other time.
— A person living in the Circle of Care on East Pershing Street attempted to contact police several times while being paranoid from prescription medication, prompting police to respond at 2:22 a.m. Saturday. The nursing staff said the person was having side effects from their medication. The patient was lying on the floor after falling off the bed in her sleep and was transported by KLG to the Salem Regional Medical Center.
— A Pearce Circle man was in the 1200 block of Cedar Ridge Drive at 4:59 a.m. Saturday reporting his truck was stolen. He said he drove the truck to that location and came outside to gather property from the truck, when he found the truck was missing. He was highly intoxicated. Police found the truck on Second Street and he then remembered parking it there. He agreed to get his truck when he is sober.
— Police responded to the 1500 block of State Boulevard at 4:48 p.m. Thursday in reference to a package being taken off a porch. The complainant reported the package was returned the next day.
— Police responded to the 1400 block of West State Street at 6:33 p.m. Thursday where the complainant reported her boyfriend was intoxicated and they began arguing. She said she just wanted a report and left for the evening.
— Police responded to an Allen Road business at 6:39 a.m. Friday in reference to someone brandishing a weapon. The complainant said all people involved were at the business. Police determined the suspect had removed his firearm from his person to place it in the glove box to keep while he was at work when the complainant passed by the vehicle in which he was riding. The complainant agreed it was a misunderstanding.
