— Police were dispatched twice to a Morton Street residence in the early morning hours of April 18 to investigate a disturbance over belongings.
— Kazon Latif “Meech” Carter and Rachel R. Mazza were charged with drug paraphernalia, after a traffic stop at 5:20 p.m. April 18 in the first block of Wilbert Avenue. Officers had stopped the vehicle for a stop sign and turn signal offense, after numerous complaints about possible drug activity in the vehicle. After receiving consent to the search the vehicle and an apartment, police found various pieces of paraphernalia in the area where the couple had been sleeping in the residence, including Chore Boy, a spoon, suspected meth pipe, white pills in a cigarette package, digital scale and possible crack cocaine. More charges are pending.
— A physical altercation was reported at 3:21 a.m. April 18 at St. Clair and Orchard Grove. One combatant was given advice on filing criminal charges.
— A resident of Sophia Street reported a “blacked out” occupied vehicle sitting outside. Upon arrival by police, the vehicle had left.
— Officers investigated a possible car vandalism in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.
— A complaint was filed for a missing 1966 Ford Mustang at 11 a.m. Saturday on Old Route 344; however, the car re-appeared on the property.
