The WLC Club

The WLC Club met on Oct. 7 at the Living Well Church with leader Mary Jarvis opening the meeting with role call and then Connie Hissam leading the group in prayer.

The best loser was Donna Lee and she also wore the officers ribbon.

Barb Tranter won the challenge and the 50/50 drawing. The nono is all sweets.

The following members had three months of perfect attendance and will receive two weeks dues paid: Alice Eckstein, Jarvis, Lee, Betty Pease and Tranter.

Lee gave the treasurer’s report and Brenda Young read the minutes. Both were approved as read.

The best loser for September was Mary Schmidt and she will receive two weeks dues paid.

The following members had a birthday in October and were given card showers: Jarvis, Pease, Peggy Imburgia, Barb Quick and Schmidt.

The club will have a Halloween party on Oct. 28. More information will come soon.

Tranter gave a funny story and Jarvis closed the meeting wishing all a good week.
