For the first time in four decades, the Village of Lisbon celebrated the Fourth of July with a bang, with the Lisbon Fireworks Committee providing fireworks at the Lisbon Fairgrounds on Thursday. The day offered among other things food trucks, musical entertainment, a cornhole tournament and free inflatables and other activities for children on the upper midway before the display at dusk. The committee also held a 50-50 raffle and sold event T-shirts commemorating the “First Annual Lisbon Fireworks Celebration.” At left, Hayzlie Livolsi of Lisbon, 3, leaps out of an inflatable obstacle course.
