Event that focuses on grief and healing set
Salem Public Library will welcome Dawn Renee Bova, RN, MSN, NP-C — internationally published author, artist, and CEO of HeARTwork By Dawn — for an After Hours event focused on healing through creativity, story, and reflection.
The evening features two programs designed to help individuals of all ages navigate the challenges of grief. Drawing from her own journey through the loss of her father, son, and grandson, Dawn offers a compassionate, supportive experience for those seeking comfort and healing.
HeARTwork Through Grief: A Hands-On Art Workshop will be held at 4 p.m. June 20. This interactive workshop invites participants to explore grief and healing through creative expression. No artistic experience is necessary, and all materials are provided at no cost. The session is open to all ages and provides a safe, welcoming environment for anyone processing loss. Light refreshments will be served following the workshop.
Immediately following the workshop, Bova will present a lecture sharing her personal story of resilience, followed by a Q&A session. The evening will conclude with a guided mantra-writing activity to help attendees reflect and find peace in their healing journey.
Both events are free and open to the public. Advanced registration is required and can be completed through the library’s website. For assistance with registration, call the library at 330-332-0042.
