KOC at St. Paul sub sale

The Knights of Columbus Council 1818 at St. Paul Church, Salem, held the annual sub sandwich for Super Bowl Sunday in January. Thanks to the parishioners of St. Paul and the Salem community the council set a new record of 317 sandwiches. The local council is part of The Columbiana County Chapter Knights of Columbus which originally purchased the ultrasound for The Sophia Women’s Center. The ongoing programs by The Columbiana Chapter are to help cover the annual maintenance for the ultrasound. Other councils include St. Jude Columbiana, Our lady of Lourdes East Palestine, Cross Roads St John in Summitville, St. Patrick in Leetonia and Holy Trinity in East Liverpool. The local sale, St. Paul Council, gave a donation of $ 1,000. It was presented by, from left, Financial Secretary John Staudt, Executive Director of The Sophia Women’s Center Carrie Pennington and Grand Knight of Council 1818 David Bedell. (Submitted photo)
