MINERVA – Minerva Public Library will offer the following upcoming events:

– Monday, April 7, 5:30-6:30 p.m. Heart Healthy Salads: The program will explore diverse ingredients to get creative with a variety of fresh, seasonal add-ins to incorporate color, flavor, and nutrition into salads. Learn how mixing and matching dressings, toppings, and proteins can create endless salad combinations. Registration Requested

– Week of April 7: Peeps Diorama Contest entries may be brought in to the library

– Tuesday, April 8, 10:30 a.m. Adult In-Person Craft with Jennifer, painting a mandala inspired rock painting. Registration Required

– Monday, April 14, 5:30-6:30 p.m. Dementia: Difficult Conversations presented by Alzheimer’s Association. Registration requested.

– Week of April 14: Peeps Diorama Contest judging, stop in and vote.

– Thursday, April 17, 5:30-6:30 p.m. Author visit with John L. Hopkins: Travel back in time with author John L. Hopkins as he explores his book, “The World Will Never See The Like: The Gettysburg Reunion of 1913.” Uncover the captivating narrative of unity and remembrance as veterans came together to commemorate a significant historical moment. Registration requested.

– Thursday, April 24, 6-7 p.m. Family Fun Night, paint wooden spring photo frames. Registration required.

– Thursday, May 1, 5:30-6:30 p.m. Author Visit with Kim Mager: Detective Kim Mager, who spent 30 years on the force before retiring from the Ashland City Police in 2022, has written a book called “A Hunger to Kill.” It dives into her fascinating interviews with Ohio’s infamous “Lady Killer,” Shawn Grate. Mager will have copies of her book available for purchase. Register online or call 330-868-4101. Registration requested.
