Visitors to funeral services usually receive tribute cards — in memoriam of the deceased. Often they contain a photo, or a religious image and a prayer. They are nice keepsakes for honoring the memory of a loved one.

Following the death of Pope Francis, Chris Brown and Dave Peterson with Brown Funeral Home in Salem and Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home in Sebring created unique tribute cards honoring the pontiff who currently lies in state before a Saturday burial service.

The cards are being offered free to the public. Each location has 200 cards and they are available to anyone during normal business hours, 9 a.m.-5 p.m..

The card’s front contains a photo of Pope Francis with his dates of birth and death.

On the back of the card are the following prayers: “Hail Mary, full of grace, Our Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.” …… “Eternal rest grant unto Pope Francis, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace, Amen.”

Starting at $2.99/week.
