Mary Poppins Jr. May 2-4

Squeaky Wheel Theater Company Presents: Mary Poppins Jr., A Special Needs Production May 2-4 at The Columbiana Arts Theater. Showtimes are 7 p.m. May 2 and 3, and 2 p.m. May 4. This heartwarming and inclusive production is designed for all abilities, celebrating the joy of live theater and the power of creativity.

Senior Culminating Experience

The University of Mount Union is hosting a new exhibit, featuring the Senior Culminating Experience projects of 12 UMU seniors. The exhibit will be available to view now through May 11 in the Sally Otto Gallery. The exhibit is free and open to the public. An artists’ reception will be held in the same location on April 25 from 4 to 6 p.m. For information about this, and upcoming exhibits, visit mountunion.edu/arts-and-culture. Local student featured in the exhibit include Kelly Devan of Alliance, Natalie Hinkle of Alliance, Caitlyn Mitzel of Alliance, Abbey West of Alliance and Owen Whaley of Sebring.

Salem Music Study Club

The Salem Music Study Club will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, in the parlor of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church building upstairs beside the church. The club will have a brief meeting about future possibilities that the club needs to address and its plans. Members will discuss the future, too, and announce the next festival of choirs date. Guests and members are always welcome. Anna Anderson will present the program on Music Throughout The Years, which is her second version of it this season.

Way Station Food Distribution

The Way Station Food Distribution will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, April 24, at 769 Springfield Road, Columbiana. Individuals must live within a 15-mile radius of the pantry location.

Lepper Library book sale

Lepper Library will be having its annual Book Sale on Friday, May 16, and Saturday, May 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a wide selection of adult, teen and children’s books, audios, and movies. The prices are hardbacks $1, paperbacks 50 cents, audios and DVDs $1, all children’s books 25 cents and magazines are free with any purchase. Proceeds from the sale will be put toward digitizing more of the Morning Journal newspaper to make it available on the library website. The sale will take place at the Library, 303 E. Lincoln Way, Lisbon. Enter the library from the East Lincoln Way entrance for parking. For the sale, enter at the garage from Vine Street.
