The Southern Local Drama Club will present its spring musical “Newsies” March 14-16. Set in 1899, this musical tells the story of a group of young newspaper carriers in New York City who strike against the powerful newspaper mogul Joseph Pulitzer. The Friday and Saturday shows will begin at 7 p.m. and the Sunday matinee starts at 2 p.m. Doors will open one hour prior to show time. All tickets are $5 at the door (cash only) with no pre-sale tickets.
