ID’s released in apparent murder-suicide
LIVERPOOL TOWNSHIP — The identities of the two deceased found in an apparent murder-suicide in Liverpool Township have been released.
The Columbiana County Coroner’s Office has identified the husband and wife found dead of gunshot wounds as Eric Mills, 48, and Lorie Klie, 61.
The couple was discovered in their residence on Feb. 28 by Liverpool Township officers who were dispatched to the Parkwood Drive home after dispatch received a 911 hang-up call at approximately 12:37 a.m.
Officers upon arriving at the residence were told by dispatch that Klie said she was bedridden and that Mills was breaking items in the residence and she wanted him removed.
Officers entered the residence after not receiving any response when knocking at the door and they found the deceased couple.
According to the Columbiana County Coroner’s office, the ruling of murder-suicide is preliminary, and the cause of death remains under investigation.
