Murder Mystery Dinner Theater

The East Liverpool Masonic Temple Board is sponsoring a Murder Mystery Dinner Theater on March 15 at 6 p.m. sharp. Held in the newly renovated ballroom of the Masonic Temple, plan to spend an evening solving the mystery. Tickets are $20 and include a four-course chicken dinner. Contact any member of the Temple Board for tickets or call the Temple at 330-385-0172 or Pat Hall at 330-385-5073. The deadline to purchase tickets is March 11. The Masonic Temple is located at 422 Broadway St. and has added an elevator to reach the upper floors of the temple.

Holtz Scholarship applications

Applications for the Lou Holtz Life Improvement Scholarship are available from school guidance counselors for seniors in the Ohio Valley who intend to attend a trade school. The scholarship is for $3,750 for two years and is often matched by the trade school. The deadline for the application is April 4. Young at Heart meets March 13

Young at Heart will meet on Thursday, March 13, at 12:30 p.m. at Long’s Run Trinity Presbyterian Church, 15851 Long’s Run Church Road, Calcutta. A light lunch will be served. The group is open to all at no cost. Attendees are asked to bring a nonperishable food item for the food pantry. For information call 330-385-1127.
