TOPS 1341

TOPS 1341 met Monday, Feb. 3, at the Glenmoor Presbyterian Church with co-leader Judy McComas presiding. Weigh-ins and pledges preceded the roll call. The Best Loser was McComas and the Runner Up was Dena White. They chose white, high-carb foods and no snacking after 7 p.m. as this week’s No-No’s.

Drawing Winners: Dorothy Garn – Calorie Chart, Junk Food and 50/50; Weight Loss – Cassie Ensinger. Nine members remain in the Check Contest. Darla Varney held the Travel Box for week 1. Cathy Wollam was in the Attendance Book for 24 weeks.

Wollam gave the treasurer’s report. McComas read the January weight loss stats. January’s Best Loser was Kandice Kraft and Cassie Ensinger was the Runner Up. January’s Calorie Chart winner was Mary Gailey and Exercise Chart winner was Garn.

There was a first reading of the Chapter’s Bylaws, with a second reading next week. Health concerns were shared followed by The Lord’s Prayer.

Lose Group

Choose To Lose Group met at Boyce Church on Feb. 4 with Leader Penny Perorazio presiding.

The meeting opened up with the Pledge of Allegiance followed by the CTLG roll call. Perorazio gave the secretary report and Cassy Stephens gave the treasurer reports.

Tammy Heddelston was the Pearl’s biggest loser. Diamonds biggest loser and officer was Stephens. Diamonds in leeway are Seevers, Jean Ferrebee, Jo Ann Berresford and Stephens. Stephens won the Share the Blessing and calorie chart. Ferrebee won the dimes. No fibbing winners were Perorazio, Ferrebee, Berresford and Stephens.

No No’s are salty snacks and no eating after 7 p.m. Next week fibbing number is #9. Heddelston, Stephens, Berresford and Carolyn Hager put pigs in the pig pen.

Perorazio closed the meeting with prayer request followed by the Lord’s Prayer. New and former members are always welcome on Tuesdays at 10 a.m.
