West Branch Spelling Bee
Wednesday morning saw 24 students in grades 6-8 compete to represent West Branch at the Regional Spelling Bee at Youngstown State University over the course of nearly a full hour of constant spelling. Seventh grader Brieanna Call ultimately won the Middle School Spelling Bee in Shakespearean fashion, correctly spelling “hurly-burly” and “intestine” back-to-back to claim the victory.
