The vocal music department of the East Liverpool Jr./Sr. High School will hold its annual holiday concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 17 in the fieldhouse auditorium. Participating groups will include the high school concert choir, the Potter Blues show choir, the 7th grade choir, the 8th grade choir, and participants from the music appreciation class. The concert will close with the traditional singing of Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus when choir alumni are invited to join the high school choir members on stage. Instrumental accompanists include Mary Jean Ludwig, Jan Stover, Joshua Sipe, and Pat Will. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for seating. There is no admission cost, although the choir boosters will gladly accept donations. Raffle baskets and drawings will be held by the boosters program.
