Last Saturday’s Bright Christmas attracted 650 children and their families to The Brightside Project’s new location in Salem. Also, over 125 more children this past week received food and hygiene items as part of the Bright Christmas initiative. During the Bright Christmas children chose toys based on age. They also received snacks, goodies and hygiene products while participating in interactive fun. The entire event was free thanks to the generosity of community members bolstered by dozens of day-of volunteers Shown above, the Carter siblings from East Liverpool pose with “Sunny” the mascot.
