Southern Local High School students looking to the future had a chance to review their options during the Columbiana County College Fair at Crestview High School on Nov. 6. Eleven SLHS juniors and seniors attended the event, which attracted about 500 students from 10 school districts and included more than 40 colleges, universities, trade schools and military recruitment sites. Participants spoke to representatives to learn what their facilities had to offer and SLHS Guidance Counselor Alannah Smith said she was impressed with her group’s engagement and how invested they were in speaking with officials.
