20th anniversary
Glenmoor Presbyterian Church celebrated the 20 year anniversary of its Helping Hands Program. The Hands Program has been providing free lunch to the community for 20 years. On the last Tuesday of each month (with holiday exceptions) a host of volunteers gather to cook and package lunches to pass out in a drive in format behind the church. Pantry items are handed out as well to those in need. The church hosted a reception following the Sunday service on Nov. 10 to honor those who show up monthly to cook and package meals. They prepare on average of 120 meals per month for those in the community that partake.
