WASHINGTONVILLE — VFW Post 5532, Auxiliary, 575 S. County Road, Washingtonville, will be hosting a Trunk or Treat open to the public on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. Hot Dogs, donuts and cider will be served.

That will be followed later that day by music by 2-piece chicken dinner band from 7 to 10 p.m.

Signup at the post for the Children’s Christmas party by the deadline of Nov. 16. This is open to the public and will be held on 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Dec. 14.

Signup at the post for the Auxiliary Christmas Dinner by the deadline of Nov. 30 and will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 6 p.m. at Ezio’s Restaurant in Salem.

The auxiliary meeting day has been changed to the third Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at the post home.
