Baldwin Wallace University scholarships
Students from the area were among over 660 first-year students welcomed to the Baldwin Wallace University campus this fall who earned more than $12.6 million in scholarships for their outstanding high school achievements. The following local students earned scholarships:
Colin Keleman of Columbiana, a graduate of Columbiana High School majoring in sport management, earned a $19,000 Trustees’ Scholarship.
Ellie Kidd of Salem, a graduate of Salem High School majoring in psychology, earned an $18,000 Deans’ Scholarship.
Colby Kliffmueller of Sebring, a graduate of Sebring McKinley High School majoring in sport management, earned a $15,000 Fellows’ Scholarship.
Jasmine Ludt of East Palestine, a graduate of East Palestine High School majoring in exercise science, earned a $21,000 President’s Scholarship.
Lia McTrustry of East Palestine, a graduate of East Palestine High School majoring in adolescent and young adult education, earned a $21,000 President’s Scholarship.
Kate Slutz of Salem, a graduate of West Branch High School majoring in business administration, earned a $19,000 Trustees’ Scholarship.
Blake Thomas of Sebring, a graduate of Sebring McKinley High School majoring in pre-engineering, earned a $21,000 President’s Scholarship.

Transfer President’s Scholarship
Ayden Leon of Leetonia was among over 100 transfer students welcomed to the Baldwin Wallace University campus this fall who claimed more than $1.4 million in merit scholarships based on their previous college accomplishments. Leon, a graduate of South Range High School majoring in biology, earned a $15,000 Transfer President’s Scholarship. BW offers a wide range of financial support to its students – more than $60 million for the 2024-2025 academic year.
