Perry trustees approve appropriation changes
PERRY TOWNSHIP–The board of trustees approved appropriation changes Monday.
The appropriations included increases to the Police Fund’s “other expenses” line item by $4,000, and to the Zoning Fund’s “compensation” line item by $500; and a reclassification of $4,000 from the “permissive vehicle” line item to the Road and Bridge Fund’s “other expenses” line item. Appropriations also included several other changes under $50 including: decreases in the General Fund Appropriations of $20 from the “election expenses” line item and $26 from the “contractual services” line item; and a corresponding increase of $46 in the “tax collection fees” line item; and a decrease in the Police Fund appropriations of $45 in the “natural gas” line item; and a corresponding increase of $45 in the “tax collection fee” line item.
Trustees also reminded residents that the township’s annual leaf bag distribution was underway at the township road building at 1320 Depot Road on Mondays from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Friday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. while supplies last. Pick-up by the road department is underway.
During his report, Zoning Inspector Dan Bowers said he issued 11 permits in October so far.
The board of Trustees will meet next 4 p.m. Nov. 11.
