Bridge work
Traffic crossing the Grant Street Bridge was reduced to one lane on Thursday while construction continues on the new bridge. Traffic lights are now installed at the intersection of Maple and South Market to control traffic and will remain in place until the project is completed. Small delays are possible. The project is ahead of schedule and plans are to demolish the existing bridge in October. Lisbon Mayor Pete Wilson said the cost of the project is about $3.6 million with almost all of the construction costs being paid through grants. (Photos
