Columbiana Community Foundation presented a grant in the amount of $25,500, to the Columbiana and Fairfield Township Historical Society as they reach the final phase of the “Fix the Sticks” project. The City of Columbiana and the Historical Society of Columbiana and Fairfield Township have continued to collaborate in their endeavor to “Fix the Sticks” to restore the old wooden Chapel at the Columbiana Cemetery. The exterior has been transformed and the focus now is on one of two final phases of the project related to the interior. The ultimate goal has been to restore and preserve this unique structure for the community’s use and historic purposes.
