LISBON — The Columbiana County Grand Jury issued an open indictment Friday against Roger A. Ingram Jr., 32, West Ninth Street, East Liverpool, for a fourth-degree felony counterfeiting charge.

The grand jury held an extra session this month, meeting Friday morning to hear nine cases and reporting out by noon. Of the nine cases, two were open indictments and seven were secret indictments. The secret indictments will become public once the defendants have been served with the paperwork.

One of the open indictments involved Ingram allegedly attempting to use a counterfeit $100 bill at KFC in St. Clair Township on Dec. 8, 2022. A affidavit said an employee told him the bill was fake and an investigation revealed he attempted to use the bill elsewhere.
