Ruritan’s donations

Several of the local Ruritan clubs donated funds for the purchase and display of a 20-foot by 30-foot American Flag at the Columbiana County Fairground’s Patriotic Plaza near the main gate at this year’s fair. Ruritan National came to Ohio in 1952 and the first Ohio Ruritan Clubs were chartered in Columbiana County. The Columbiana County Ruritan Clubs are Beloit, Damascus, Fairfield, Great Divide, Guilford Lake, Knox, Leetonia, Lisbon, Southern, West Branch Ladies, West Township and Winona.
