Leetonia Spelling Bee
Sixth grade student Vincent Ankrom was named champion during the spelling bee. Ankrom competed with eighth grader Elijah Prince with the correct spelling of dingoes and took the championship with the word archduke.
The top five finalists in the Leetonia Middle School Spelling Bee held Thursday morning included sixth grade student Cathryn Best, eighth grade student Elijah Prince, sixth grade student Vincent Ankrom, seventh grade student Nahvara Bradway and sixth grade student Kylie Detchon.
