South Range cancels classes following bomb threat

BEAVER TWP. — Classes at South Range schools have been canceled for today following a bomb threat.

The bomb threat was found late Wednesday afternoon on a library desk, according to news partner WKBN-TV.

Beaver Township police called for bomb-sniffing dogs but only one was available and the building is too big for one dog to handle.

On the side of caution, the school will be closed for one day so a thorough search can be conducted.
