Sheriff’s office raises over $17K during No Shave November

LISBON — The Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office raised more than $17,000 during their No Shave November contest. The money is going to Heroes and Halos, a non-profit organization that provides outreach to special needs residents in the local area.

Deputy Kevin Shulas raised the most money with $2,679, followed by Deputy Caleb Wycoff, Deputy Willie Coleman, Deputy Damin Beadnell with his K-9 partner Hunter and Deputy Ryan Pike.

In December, the county sheriff’s office will be collecting toys for Nina’s Closet and Children Services. Unwrapped toys can be dropped off at the Columbiana County Courthouse and at the County Sheriff’s Office on County Home Road.

Chief Deputy Jenn Tucker said there also will be some Stuff-A-Cruiser events planned in various locations in the local communities. The dates and times for those will be announced on the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.
