Angels for Animals annual holiday sale

SALEM — Angels for Animals is gearing up for their 2021 Annual Antique, Collectibles & Holiday Sale. Items are being collected through Dec. 2, noon to 6 p.m. For larger items contact Diane at 330-502-5352. Early Birds can shop on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. for a donation of $5. The sale continues on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. All donations and shoppers can find the Annual Sale in Andrews Hall, located at Angels for Animals, 4750 W. South Range Road.

The successful fundraising efforts have been made possible with volunteers such as Susie Cope. For close to 20 years, Cope has put in countless hours collecting, pricing and organizing items donated for this annual sale. She also has a wonderful team who all come together to pitch in: Denise Miller, Mickey Cope, Lynn Hoffman and Kathleen Holden along with many more volunteers who join in the efforts. All of these individuals work very hard to make this sale a success.

This year sale already has some unique items which are sure to be hard to find items, including a collectible Barbie Wonder Woman still in the box, a 1966 Snoopy Lidded Peanut Dish, a Howdy Doody cookie jar, an antique apothecary jar, doll size chest of drawers, and a Jim Shore Heartwood Creek Garden Angel with Cats – Solar Lighted. There is also have a beautiful vintage Ethan Allen drop-leaf desk and many Christmas and holiday items.
