Clothes Closet

The Clothes Closet of the Sebring/West Branch area will hold a free clothing give-away October 16 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The give-away will take place at the Clothes Closet located behind Pine Lake Christian Church, 636 Pine Lake Road, in Sebring.

Clothing is available with items for men, women, and children.

The clothing is available to anyone who could make good use of it. There are no restrictions based on income or employment. They only ask that patrons take items that will be used by their immediate family, though they are always happy to discuss exceptions to that guideline.

Donations of good, gently used clothing items are also welcome. Clothing is accepted for any season. Please call about making clothing donations as a drop-off box is not available.

The Clothes Closet is a partnership of churches in the Sebring-West Branch community. For more information about the clothing closet or to arrange to make a donation of clothing, call (330) 938-6689. Also call Pine Lake Church at 330-938-2262 weekdays.

Salem Library

Dinosaurs and delicious food truck treats at the same time? Salem Public Library thinks this is a fantastic combination and wants to share it so everyone is welcome to come and experience it for themselves on October 16 from 4-7 p.m. Interact with life-like dinosaurs and learn all about them with the Dinomobile from Imaginos Productions. We don’t want anyone to go hungry while meeting a T-Rex so we’ve invited multiple food trucks to offer their delicious goodies. As a bonus, the Salem Public Library Memorial Fund is offering $5 vouchers to library patrons that can be used for the food trucks that evening! Attend a library program or drop by the library to get your food truck voucher while supplies last. Meet some very cool dinos, enjoy delicious treats, see your neighbors, and support local businesses all at once! No registration is required but if you have questions, give us a call at 330-332-0042.
