Tops 2231

EAST LIVERPOOL — Tops 2231 met at Boyce Church Oct. 12 with leader Tonnie Slagle presiding.

The meeting opened with Tops and Kops pledges and roll call. Cassy Stephens read the secretary and treasurers report.

The Tops best loser was Penny Perorazio, Kops best loser was Verla Betteridge. Kops in leeway are, Stephens, Betteridge, Slagle, Jo Ann Beresford and Dottie Seevers. Dimes and 50/50 were won by Seevers, calorie chart was won by Tammy Heddelston.

No No’s are candy and cookies.

‘Stephens read an article” Tops Member Bill of Rights.

Three weeks with no gain was Stephens, six weeks no gain was Slagle and Heddelston. This was a No Gainer Week!!

The meeting closed with prayer request followed by the Lord’s Prayer. New and former members are always welcome at 11 a.m. on Tuesdays. Call 330-303-6082 for more information.

Tops 1957

WELLSVILLE — Tops 1957 of Wellsville met on Oct. 5 at The Living Well Church with leader Barb Tranter opening the meeting with pledges, roll call and then Mary Schmidt led the group in prayer.

Tops best loser was Donna Lee and she also wore the officers ribbon. The dimes will be carried over and Peggy Imburgia returned from vacation with a loss and received a charm. Mary Schmidt was the best loser for September. The group voted to give tea towels or a weeks dues paid to replace charms.

Mary Jarvis donated a wreath that was won by Tranter.

The Nono for the week is doughnuts.

Donna Lee gave the treasure report and Brenda Young read the minutes from last week; both were approved as read.

Mary Jarvis announced that a new contest is starting next week and it will end on November 29. The first week you need to lose weight and the biggest weekly loser will get an extra point. You will earn a point for every fourth of pound lost. It is called the Turkey Trot.

The Christmas party will be held on December 14. More information will come later.

Tranter read letters from Diane Herbert and Kerry Schneider.

Tranter read a few funnies and the closed the meeting wishing all a good week.
