In recognition of Mother’s Day, the Salem Historical Society Museum, 208 S. Broadway, is offering free admission for mothers May 9 when accompanied by a family member. The museum is open from 1 to 4 p.m. (last tour begins at 3:30 p.m.). The gift/book shop, 239 s. Lundy Ave., will also be open for Salem souvenirs. This year’s featured exhibit, Suffrage Centennial, is celebrating the passage of the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote. Contact the museum for further information at 330-337-8514.
