COLUMBIANA–The Columbiana Area Chamber of Commerce announced that the St. Patrick’s Day Celebration planned for March 14 has been canceled. The plan for social distancing previosly accepted by the Columbiana County Health Department was sent to the state but was rejected due to concerns that an influx of spectators would violate “mass gathering” orders issued by Governer Mike DeWine. All designated viewing area and float payments will be refunded. The Columbiana Area Chamber of Commerce looks forward to being permitted to have fun events again in the future.
