Liverpool woman accused in extortion try
LISBON — An East Liverpool woman is facing charges after allegedly attempting to extort money from a man.
A March 4 pretrial was set in county Municipal Court for Katlyn M. Tice, 28, Sherwood Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with theft by deception, a first-degree misdemeanor.
According to deputies, a county man allegedly paid Tice to see nude photos of her and she then asked to see nude photos of him. After he sent them, she reportedly told him she was underage and if he did not send her money, she would go to the police and have him arrested.
He sent her $150 and she reportedly threatened if he did not send her more money, she would call police, then he would lose his children and be listed as a sexual offender.
