Signs announcing the Sparkle in Lisbon will be sold at auction appeared this week. The 24,000-square-foot building was built in 1968 according to auction information. Four other parcels in the surrounding area are also being offered for sale at the same auction, which is scheduled for Nov. 20. Sparkle’s owners had announced in late September the store will close this Saturday after 31 years.
